I'm one of the organizers for the TEDx NYED conference taking place on March 6, 2010 in New York City. TEDx is a TED-style event, but is completely independently organized. The organizers are mostly educators, but all our passionate about the future of technology in education. The speakers are amazing, and they include: Larry Lessig (author, professor at Harvard Law School), Gina Bianchini (founder of Ning), Andy Carvin (NPR), Mike Wesch (professor at Kansas State, YouTube phenom) and many more...
